Milestones of consistent development

Short abstract of our company's history:

1988 Driven by their mutual passion for developing technical and scientific software at highest engineering standards, Dr. Antonius Bunsen, Dr. Ulrich Fritzler and Dr. Albrecht Zeh found SEKAS GmbH.
1991 SEKAS becomes the exclusive PAWS distributor for the European continent
1996 Following elaborate development and implementation, the SEKAS quality management system receives its first ISO 9001 certification. Since that time, SEKAS has been scoring best marks both in certification audits and in audits conducted by customers.
1999 Jointly with the Technical University of Munich, SEKAS starts SEPIOR, a project funded by the EU. The development of component-based software with an object-oriented domain and requirement analysis is the cornerstone of successful years at the beginning of the 21st century.
2002 Release of SEKAS product QUOTIS-3, a quality management system for supporting control, repair and analysis processes.
2003 New business address. After 15 successful years spent in Perchtinger Str. 3 SEKAS moves office to Baierbrunner Str. 23. The SEKAS success story continues, now in a new and modern office building.
2005 Release of SEKAS product PROQUIS, a modular system with SOA components for individual MES solutions.
2010 Continuing the passion for professional software development, Dr. Wolfgang Daxwanger and Thomas Krenzke become members of the management.
2010-2012 The founders gradually retire from the management.
2015 In preparation since 2004, seamless succession in the management is finalized with transition of company shares to Dr. Wolfgang Daxwanger and Thomas Krenzke.
2015 Kick-off to research project ESOSEG funded by Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie (Federal Office of Economics and Energy). This Project with a duration of three years starts in joint cooperation with consortium members of Technical University of Munich and of the University of Ulm.
2017 Successful relaunch of SEKAS Website
2018 The research project SeReMo is conducted jointly with Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. It is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy and the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs. Specified project duration is 18 months.
